SUMMER OF SUSPENSE, A teenage girl's unexpected adventure

It's an exciting story about a sixteen-year-old girl named Susan from Ohio and her visit with her grandparents, who live in Oklahoma. The grandparents rented rooms to boys who attended Oklahoma State College. One boy, an agronomist, was attending summer courses at Oklahoma State University.

Susan meets Ann, the daughter of a farmer who helps to plow her grandfather's land. The two girls enjoy each other's company, camping, swimming, bicycling, but when one of the boarders is missing, they turn their attention to sleuthing, until the grandfather discovers their creative ideas and doings. Mike, the sheriff is called to solve the murder, and an attempted murder of poisoning the oil-property owner.
